Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent, unprovoked seizures, which are caused by sudden, abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

It is a spectrum condition that affects each person differently—while some may experience brief lapses in attention, others face severe convulsions that impact physical safety. Beyond the seizures themselves, the “post-ictal” recovery period can cause significant fatigue and confusion, often disrupting an individual’s ability to perform daily tasks or maintain a consistent schedule.
